![]() Only a few games have this feature implemented though (example: The Witcher 3 will set the controller's lightbar accordingly to your current Health, and also pulse a color corresponding to the magic being used in the moment) Disabling touchpad actions Regarding lightbar passthru, it's currently disabled because of some other issue, but it allows games to directly change the controller's lightbar instead of using some pre-defined configuration on DS4Windows. To allow the game to access this information, you need to "passthru" the related data being sent from the controller to the game/app, which is what the Passthru modes are for.Īll of this is valid only if you are doing "Real controller" (DS4/DualSense/etc) to DS4 emulation, since Xbox 360 controllers don't have lightbar/gyro/touchpad natively. Example: Detroid Become human requires the user to move the controller in specific ways for some puzzles, or to slide the touchpad to change pages in a book.īecause under default settings these informations are not passed to the game, the game think the touchpad/gyro is not being used. Some games that haver native support to DS4 controllers use the controller touchpad and gyroscope for their own native implementation. ![]() DS4Windows takes this data and use them for things like mouse control, touchpad to button remapping etc. Under "default" DS4Windows settings, the information your controller sends to the computer regarding Gyro and touchpad is not "repassed" to games.
